Uses: Excitation and Emission wavelength Ex/Em = 336/505 nm; Fura-2 AM is a membrane-permeable, UV-excitable, ratiometric fluorescent Ca²⁺ indicator. It readily crosses cell membranes and is converted into Fura-2 by intracellular esterases. Fura-2 AM is commonly used to detect and monitor changes in intracellular calcium concentrations in cells.
